Inventory Analyst - Baker Hughes

ABOUT THIS JOB



Maintain and ensure that inventory remains at acceptable levels. Makes sure that all products are transferred in the proper amount to the correct customer or store following proper paperwork. Files reports about lost, stolen or damaged items and update in SAP. Enter merchandise amounts on the computer or inspect work areas to ensure products are placed in a safe and accessible order following company HS&E and quality requirement.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES



Ensuring accurate accounting of all the transactions and inventory levels.

Identify excess inventory and work closely with operations and product line inventory lead to arrange for the removal.

Prepare and circulate reports to internal customers.

Initiate and participate in Inventory audit process. Follows-up and closes audit findings and manage document filing.

Independently handling all matters related field Inventory.

Lead the execution of maintenance and housekeeping of warehouse and yards, preservation of inventory materials and equipment to ensure warehouse and yard are always in good conditions and safe and materials prevented from rust and damage.

Ensuring sufficient supplies of stock (Safety / MIN) are available on the shelves and prepare request for replenishment using SMART system.

Perform and participate in cycle & API countsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS



Minimum of 4-5 years in Inventory Control

Excellent computer working knowledge (Good command over MS Office tools and Inventory data base)

Good in Spoken, Read and write English and Arabic languages. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS



Preferred SAP training attended on Inventory modules

Bachelor degree is preferable

Preferred minimum of 3 years relevant oil field experience OTHER DETAILS



Excellent communication skills, tact and diplomacy to interface with various internal and external customers

Enthusiastic, meticulous with a background in inventory control.

Ability to recognize and solves problems.

Conversant with all facts of inventory control.

Ability to work with a team of subordinates and deliver good team performances

Detailed information regarding nature of operation and the dependency on the inventory.
