Quality Control Section Head - Solb Steel Company

Job Purpose:



Oversees the activities of quality control section for steel plant operations and production of the Company, ensuring production output adheres with the standards and expectations of management and customers.



Accountabilities:



• Coordinates with the production unit and sales & marketing to set/update the standards with respect to quality parameters and metallurgical process questions.

• Improves internal policies and procedures to conduct quality control checks on products as well as production lines.

• Monitor quality control checks schedules, allocate required resources, and coordinate with the production units to ensure alignment on schedules.

• Supervises and coordinates trials for cost savings and quality improvements.

• Coordinates all necessary communication, instructions and agreements related to the Quality Section and from Management reaches everyone in the shop.

• Follows up availability of equipment and consumables required for the quality control lab and issue MPRs when required.

• Assists in implementing & continuously improve quality & other management systems in the company to ensure the systemization of various process & activities.

• Assists and participates in external & internal system audits & follow up corrective actions implemented & continual improvement achieve.

• Assists the adoption, development & implementation of various initiatives to improve current systems & introduce new management systems & technical at the company to increase efficiency & achieve the company objectives.
