Corporate Strategy / Head of Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Department - Iraq - Zain Group

The Role::



The job holder is responsible for the management of the Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Department activities including development and monitoring of strategic plans and projects and performance management systems.



The Position::



* Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Department Strategy and Plans as befitting the Department and business line needs and objectives

* Set Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Department performance objectives and continuously monitor progress and development towards organizational and Department strategic objectives

* Manage the implementation of Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Department policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfilment of organizational requirements whilst delivering high-quality services

* Manage the day-to-day operations of Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Department, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and align work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employees in a motivated work environment

* Develop and manage the strategic planning process to achieve Zain IQ's Strategy, mission and vision

* Develop Zain IQ corporate strategy in coordination with key stakeholders and in line with Zain IQ's yearly initiatives

* Oversee business planning through ensuring the cascading of corporate Strategy to Level 2 Directorates

* Ensure strategy execution through establishing project management standards (i.e. processes, tools, etc.)

* Manage corporate strategy projects and escalate major issues to senior management in order to execute Zain IQ's Strategy

* Ensure Directorate performance management by supporting all Directorates in developing corporate performance scorecard in line with Zain IQ's Strategy

* Ensure Directorate performance management by supporting all Directorates in measuring and tracking performance indicators (KPIs)

* Oversee the corporate reporting procedure which includes gathering data, analyzing performance, developing and communicating financial and operational performance reports to all concerned stakeholders for decision making purposes



Monitor and ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives through the leadership of the Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Department, set individual objectives, manage performance, develop and motivate staff, provide formal and informal feedback and appraisal, and provide guidance on training programs for employees in order to maximize subordinate and Department performance
