Project Scheduler / Planner

Responsible for detailed planning and scheduling of Various Multi discipline EPC/Turnkey projects with an objective of improving the overall quality, effectiveness and cost efficiency for a safe, on time, within budget completion of Projects.



Detailed Tasks / Activities:-

Maintain a project Tracking system from initiation to close out. Co-ordinate with various departments/Sections like Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Production, Reliability and Maintenance etc. for project follow-up.

Develop Project charters by defining project goals and objectives, brief scope, constraints and boundaries, roles and responsibilities, Major stake holders, time line, Communication plan, project success definition etc.

Provide input for multiple level cost estimates and Budgeting.

Compile Project Planning, Execution, Contract packages with all the relevant documents/information related Resources, Material, Services and equipments required for safe execution of the Project.

Estimate Resource requirements in consultation with project Engineers and estimators.

Compile external Services scope of work and co-ordinate with various department/sections to review and finalize.

Generate Service requests and PRs and liaise with Contract section for bidding and contracting process. Maintain External Service Tracking list for follow-up. Co-ordinate variations orders during execution.

Initiate Procurement of all Project Materials/Spare parts and review stock/inventory.

Maintain Material tracking system and follow-up with Procurement section for on time delivery.

Preparation of Vendors / Services mobilization schedule. Co-ordinate for timely mobilization and demobilization of vendor / Services. Co-ordinate all technical clarifications after contract award.

Develop detailed Project execution schedules in Primavera P6 by coordinating with various stake holders. Co-ordinate with various departments and Contractors/Vendors to review and finalize the Schedule.

Analyze the detailed Project schedule, identify Critical paths, potential conflicts, and deviations and propose solutions to optimize the overall schedule.

Develop resource allocation, staffing and staffing plan.

Set-up progress monitoring system and Track the Project performance. Update schedule periodically and issue look ahead schedules. Generate multiple level of status reports.

Analyze Progress trend and provide timely feedback. Carry out delay analysis and develop recovery plans with multiple scenarios.

Carry out Material reconciliations and Services settlement and Services Entries in SAP. Support resolution of Contract issues/variation Claims.

Ensure all history data, Lessons learned, and schedule and resource actual are captured in close-out report during the closeout phase, to ensure continuous improvement for future Projects.
