Marketing Manager (For Saudi Only) - Alfaisal University

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

1.Assists in the development of Marketing Department business plan, budget and resources to achieve Alfaisal University’s objectives for services while ensuring alignment with the overall strategy and direction



2.Assists in Developing adequate policies, procedures and processes for Marketing Department to maintain efficient operational excellence to achieve Alfaisal University's overall strategic objectives.



3.Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, and manages marketing operating budget.



4.Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.



5.Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.



6.Evaluates and recommends distribution channel development programs.



7.Determines agencies and suppliers of record, and negotiates contract terms and conditions for major services.



8.Serves as liaison with outside agencies on outgoing promotional and collateral materials.



9.Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.



10.Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.



11.Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners.



12.Conducts marketing surveys on current and new University operations concepts, and provides feedback for future development.



13.Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.



14.Establishes and maintains a consistent image for the University throughout all service lines, promotional material, and events.



15.Oversees Marketing programs to ensure the University and its services are represented in a positive manner.



16.Ensures the University's core messages reach their intended audiences through traditional as well as innovative distribution methodologies and evaluates market reactions to advertising programs.



17.Provides guidance, support, leadership, and conducts annual performance appraisal management for subordinates to ensure effective and efficient flow of work, and ensures that all employees recognize their fundamental roles to achieve the University’s overall objectives.
