Job Purpose:
To help BA to collect all sorts of payments received in Head Office from customs by accepting various forms of payment (only the ones stated by Bupa), make sure that the money is deposited in our banks and record all payments in our books.
1- Receiving collection from clients:
Receive payments from clients and issue every customer a reciept. Money can be accepted in different forms through cash, chq, credit cards and span card.
Responsible for counting the cash held in cashier safe and drawers. Handle all collections accurately and enter daily payment activities (credit, cash, check).
Accountable for error-free cash register operations.
Always ensure that adequate amount of cash is available at cashier counter so that balance can always be paid to the customers.
Maintain proper record at all times for post dated chq's, daily collections and bounced cheques
Accountable for daily collection deposit in bank.
2- Reporting
Reporting the collection and deposit report to finance department (Cash management Team) + Retail and Corporate support departments.
3- Miscellaneous
Responsible for issuing and retrieval of receipt books with adequate review to ensure status of any missing/unused receipts (including receipt book management and control).
The cashier must be available at all times (except for his official break hour), not to leave his workstation without his supervisor's approval
Communicate bounced chqs to concerned department ( Retail Support + Corp support).
Responsible for other adhoc finance tasks and responsibilities as and when required in support of the overall Finance - Cash Management Team.
Adheres to Cash Management policy and controls.
