Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, successful candidate will carry out the following duties.
This includes but not limited to:
• Maintain and update a well-defined document management system for procurement; tender and contract documents, tender bond and performance bond records, purchase orders and backup documents etc.
• Provide administrative assistance for procurement which includes assisting in tendering process, maintain and update PS system, vendor management etc.
• Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and ensure delivery within acceptable timelines, in consultation with Facilities Clerk and the requester.
• Generate periodical reports on procurement and report to the Manager for review.
• Provide assistance to requester in preparing scope of work and specifications of goods and services under the guidance of procurement officer.
• Prepare purchase orders for contracted services and/or within the assigned threshold limit for review and approval by Superiors and issuance thereof upon directive from the Manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
