Functional Title : Retail Banking Systems Developer

Corporate Title : Manager

Location : Bahrain & Al Khobar, KSA



Saudi nationals Preferred.



Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:



1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, PGDM, or any related field from an accredited institution.

2. 3+ years hands on experience with .NET, C# and technologies such as WCF, WPF, WF

3. Strong Mobile Applications: Andriod, IOS, Win, HTML5 skills

4. Strong SQL skills a must, experience with SQL Server a plus

5. Strong problem solving skills

6. Experience with SOA, Web Services and large distributed systems is a must

7. End to end experience across the entire software development lifecycle

8. Track record of retail/consumer banking software

9. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative effort

10. Past experience in VeriPark multi-channel delivery, Veri branch, Veri touch, CRM, and lending solutions for financial institutions is a major plus.

11. Experience in Graphical user interface and usability design

12. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

13. Experience with systems testing, user training, documentations, and user support.

14. Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

15. Excellent communication skills





Main Scope of Duties and Responsibilities:



1. Provide systems design, development, programming, consultation and support for eBanking and applications based in C#, .NET and ASP.NET, Win and distributed n-tier application platforms (Mobile Banking Applications: Andriod, IOS will be an plus).

2. Participate in and manage design and code reviews across project work

3. Perform in the evaluation and testing of the capabilities, characteristics and requirements of existing and emerging information systems technologies

4. Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation

5. Design, develop and implement unit and scenario testing for existing code base and for new functionality under development

6. Participate in paired programming to work with other developers on new application code

7. Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements



Main Scope of Duties and Responsibilities (cont.):



1. Help Identifying issues and risks and communicating them to IT PMs.

2. Assist in quality assurance process.

3. Work and liaise effectively with system vendors, IT staff and others to ensure achievement of required goals. At all times maintaining a professional image, guarding the banks interest & observing good work ethics.

4. Ability to work on multiple projects and manage priorities.

5. Must maintain current and highest level of technical skill in the field of expertise.

6. Liaising with other IT Team members to resolve issues and arrive at appropriate solutions.

7. Adhere to the banks established procedures, policies and guidelines.

8. Pursue any other related activities as directed by superiors.
