Purpose/Scope
To ensure a smooth transport operation. Ensure the best and courteous service is given to guests at all times.
Main Duties
• To report on duty and on time as per duty roster
• To provide a courteous and professional service all time
• To ensure rules & regulations stipulated by the Dubai Municipality (Traffic Department) are followed consistently
• To attend to client’s queries courteously and promptly in the course of duty
• To report to Operations Manager/Controller, any unusual incidents, complaints, unauthorized person using vehicles, accidents or misdemeanours that may occur during the course of duty
• To inform the Operations Manager/Controller about the registration or expiration date of any vehicles
• To keep the vehicle in showroom condition as well as supplied with water, tissues
• To open the car door for the guest prior to client approaching the vehicle
• To ensure not to use mobile phone calls when the client is in the car
• To ensure if the mobile phone has to be used for some urgent purpose, the vehicle should be parked on the side of the road prior to making or receiving a call, unless there is a hands free phone in the car
• To ensure that the music in the car is turned off at all times, unless the client requests it to be turned on
• Plan the route before commencing the journey
• Report km reading before and after job
• Ensure vehicle have full tank before commencing any trip
• Send SMS message to client upon arrival for pickup
• Always contact control room for flight arrival time and make sure he is inside terminal at the flight landing time
