Marketing Specialist

The marketing specialist assists in innovative marketing and supplement tasks like public relations and promotion. To create awareness and desire for the product with a creative approach is the key aim of the marketing specialist. He studies the designs, logos, promotional materials like flyers, posters, banners, advertisements, newsletters etc and modified them if necessary. Content and pictorial data are both equally important to create to compliment the campaign and business objectives/ policies.

Handling the annual marketing budget, assigning a new budget for the coming year and working within the budget is another vital duty.

Apart from these, training interns is also his/her responsibility.



Job Duties

His job may be a fusion of marketing and related fields work tasks. Advertising and Graphic Designing, Electronic communication, Public relations, Development of a marketing plan, Executing to the ultimate accuracy, Administration, Continuous Professional Development of the team, campaign and brand, etc are all inclusive in the duties and responsibilities of a marketing specialist. Yet the tasks depend on the nature of the company, its size and clients, the marketing team the creativity of the personnel.



Work Conditions

The work may be stressful, but for the individuals who have a flair for marketing, creating campaigns and strategies, writing content, etc... the work would be fun and delighting.

Marketing specialists work from offices during the usual office hours, outdoor meets are frequent. Occasional overtime may be needed if the work task lags.
