Sales Executive - MICE - Executive Solutions

The Sales Executive’s role is measured by F&B revenue target, customer satisfaction, new account retention.

 Account retention

 Account servicing

 New account generation for Banquet Parties and Ramadan events

 Maintain key account relationship in MICE segment

 Financial / Revenue yield

 Number of events successfully handled

 Value/ profitability of events supported

 Event reporting before, during and post event

 Effective relationship with guests

 Team communication

 Follow company policies and procedures and business ethic codes

Sales and Planning

 Perform secondary sales function to achieve and exceed KPI/Revenue targets.

 Ensure an optimum yield from event in close and focused coordination with Venue team

 Attend sales related functions in order to promote opportunity and gain market intelligence

 Recommend improvements to increase profitability, identify lessons learned and recommend appropriate course correction

 Assist in preparing the F&B related requirements, checklist, floor plan for each allocated event, detailing client requirements, as discussed in food tasting, pre-planning meetings, as well as essential event information

 Manage timely execution of events and related follow up.

 Seek up-selling opportunities for F&B services that are available at an event.

 Responsible for the financial closure of service order.

 To reconcile the event service order on EBMS directly after the event and provide Finance with the means to raise the final invoice for Banquet Parties and Ramadan events.

 Continuously research F&B market trends and recommend pricing strategy

 Keep outstanding payments to minimum levels.

 Ensure event based marketing support for MICE events

 Ensure that all sales and marketing techniques are properly implemented in accordance with the business plan and procedures.

 Develop a client database for Banquet Parties and Ramadan events

 Provide required input to the budgeting process

 Ensure all Audit requirements are met and adhered always

 Understand the product, services and benefits offered by on-site facilities, hotels, restaurants, etc and to promote the use of all of these amenities

 Increase scope of event numbers and complexity with a goal to develop self.

 Follow all process established and periodically renewed by the Department for sales executive/manager

 Investigate reasons for lost sales and report periodically with an action plan to be implemented



On event completion

 Undertake and record formal and informal customer feedback

 Document and analyse suggestions/complaints to relevant section heads and ensure they are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

 Provide analysis of post event financial report
