Technical Sales Manager - Manpower Middle East

A global Lighting and Energy Solutions firm is seeking an Technical Sales Manager . This position will be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will be reporting directly to the Regional Manager



Position Summary:

To manage the sales development of assigned BU directly and through channel partners. Recommend and assist in the promotion, organization and guidance of Leviton sales practices in an efficient manner, providing for maximum market penetration of LES product offering.



Essential Functions:

1. Responsible for establishing and managing a productive network of sales representatives and technical support personnel, through guidance of Company’s sales practices and product knowledge, ensuring achievement of sales quota within assigned BU.

2. Create demand for Company’s products by identifying potential opportunities, applying the strategic selling process and utilizing the appropriate resources converting opportunities into wins.

3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the management of Company’s distributors and key accounts in order to establish and grow Company’s brand with strategic business partners within assigned region.

4. Meet consistently and maintain close relationships with developers/ consultants, IT Managers in sales organizations, distributors and customers etc, in order to communicate updates on products, product lines, and production capabilities for the purposes of educating and influencing their purchasing decisions of Company’s products.

5. Attend trade shows and assist in the selection and preparation of samples and promotional materials in order to leverage all available resources in the overall goals of maximizing sales across the organization.

6. Coordinate sales activities and communicate customer product requirements with departments including marketing, manufacturing, engineering and materials. Provide direction on any issues in BU; communicate with MD and International Business Development Manager on all matters that require immediate action.

7. Develop a yearly business plan that includes strategic elements, SWOT and financial goals and planning, monitoring and reporting all relevant sales activities designated to assist in the overall goals of this position.

8. Responsible for professional and timely administrative duties pertaining to the job (i.e. expense reports, monthly sales reports, yearly sales plan, etc) as and when requested by Supervisor.

9. Conduct training for Company’s team of general partners utilizing the train the trainer approach for channel partners, system integrators, etc for the purposes of educating and influencing their purchasing decisions of these products.

10. Develop a network of system integrators and distributors covering all verticals and geographies in respective area of business in order to build and maintain credibility and continually influence future sales of Company’s products.
