•To assist in the smooth running of the station

•To assist in order taking for beverage

•To assist in the delivery of food and beverage

•Responsible for delivering service standards that conform to Standard Operating Procedures SOP’s

•To ensure that relevant grooming standards are adhered to

•To ensure that mis en place levels are maintained accurately

•To respond proactively to guest queries

•To report and follow up all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service

•To perform all duties related to restaurant opening and closing shifts

•Work with all floor staff and management to ensure table return times are met.

•Assistance in planning and running of functions and events

•To establish and maintain effective employee relations.

•To keep up to date with trends, systems, practices and equipment in food and beverage preparation and service in the hotel and restaurant field through trade literature and visits.
