Supervise and oversee the concierge department to make it a safe and organized department. Interview and train new associates. Run the daily briefing in the department.
Responsibilities
Supervisor concierge staff according to standards. Maintain close control and inventory of uniforms and equipment on hand. Interview and recommendation for hiring. Establish/ensure lobby procedures (post positions, cleanliness, etc.). Establish/ensure a workable checkroom system for luggage that protects the hotel and guest from loss or damage. Maintain accurate and complete guest assistance information regarding events taking place in town, restaurants, athletic events, etc. City connections - Concierges from other 5 star hotels. Decision making - Empowerment. Consistency with associates and services. TQM involvement.
