Director, Culture Resource / مدير/ة مؤسسة المورد الثقافي - المورد الثقافي

The main responsibilities of the post of director are:

*To design the organization's programmes with the assistance of the staff and the approval of the Artistic Board, to supervise the implementation of these programmes, and to set the criteria for their regular evaluation, revision and reassessment.

*To ensure the existence of the necessary financial resources for the organization's work, to prepare the annual budgets and to present these to the Artistic Board and General Assembly for approval.

*To represent the organization legally, in the media and before the general public in the Arab region and internationally.

*To manage the day-to-day work in the organization and supervise the staff.

The candidate for the post of Director of Culture Resource must be a cultural manager with no less than ten years of experience in directing major cultural organisations or projects, who enjoys a good regional and international repute as a cultural manager or cultural activist, and possesses an excellent ability to communicate and interact with peoples of different cultures and diverse backgrounds. As the new Culture Resource Director will inherit a strong and successful organisation, she/he must work to safeguard its reputation and its relations with other organisations and with its beneficiaries, and he/she must consider him/herself as part of a team that includes all the staff of the organisation and its members in the Arab region. Candidates for the post of Director will also be expected to formulate their own vision for how to develop the organization's programmes, expand the range of beneficiaries from its services, and increase awareness of the organization's work regionally and internationally. In addition, potential candidates must have outstanding and demonstrable administrative skills in fundraising, financial planning, personnel management, and follow-through and evaluation processes.

The candidate selected for the post will initially work as a consultant to the organization for a period of six months, beginning in March 2014. Then she/he will begin work as the director in August of that year, before the departure of the current director in September 2014. The overlap is intended to ensure a smooth transition. The director's work premises will be the office of Culture Resource in Cairo. Salary and other benefits will be determined on the basis of qualifications and expertise.



يتولى مدير المؤسسة المسئوليات الرئيسية التالية:



تصميم وتطوير برامج المؤسسة بمساعدة العاملين وموافقة المجلس الفني، والإشراف على تنفيذ هذه البرامج ووضع معايير لتقييمها ومراجعتها وتقويمها بشكل مستمر.



تأمين وجود الموارد المالية اللازمة لعمل المؤسسة وإعداد الميزانيات السنوية وتقديمها للمجلس الفني والجمعية العمومية لإقرارها.



تمثيل المؤسسة قانونياً وكذلك إعلامياً وعلى المستوى العام في المنطقة العربية وخارجها.



الإدارة اليومية للعمل في المؤسسة والإشراف على العاملين.



المرشح المناسب لوظيفة مدير مؤسسة المورد هو مدير ثقافي لديه خبرة لا تقل عن عشرة أعوام في إدارة مؤسسات أو مشروعات ثقافية كبيرة، يتمتع بسمعة جيدة كمدير أو ناشط ثقافي على المستويين العربي والدولي،ولديه قدرة ممتازة على التواصل مع أناس من ثقافات وخلفيات مختلفة ومتنوعة. مدير مؤسسة المورد الثقافي سيرث مؤسسة قوية وناجحة ينبغي عليه أن يحافظ على سمعتها وعلى علاقاتها مع المؤسسات الأخرى ومع المستفيدين منها، وأن يعتبر نفسه جزءاً من فريق يضم جميع العاملين في المؤسسة وكذلك أعضاءها في البلدان العربية المختلفة. ينتظر من المدير الجديد أيضاً أن تكون له رؤيته الخاصة في تطوير برامج المؤسسة وتوسيع دائرة المستفيدين من خدماتها وزيادة الوعي بها على المستويين العربي والدولي. .

سيعمل المرشح للوظيفة الذي سيقع عليه الاختيار النهائي كمستشار للمؤسسة لمدة ستة شهور تبدأ من مارس 2014، ثم يبدأ عمله كمدير للمؤسسة في أغسطس قبل رحيل المديرة الحالية في سبتمبر 2014، وهذا التداخل الزمني مقصود لضمان سهولة التحول في قيادة المؤسسة. سيكون مقر العمل في مكتب المؤسسة في القاهرة وسيحدد المرتب والمزايا الأخرى بناء على الخبرة والكفاءة.
