•Translates project details and creative direction into high-level design, animation, and layout solutions.
•Creates graphics and animations for print and set designs, studio/remote applications (including virtual graphics), and ‘proof of concept’ projects.
•Creates efficient 3D models and textures in high-end software.
•Create and execute 3D and 2D modeling and animation for education based media pieces
•Design original concepts while following specific style guides
•Create and effectively present storyboards and/or sketches
•Ensures that artistic style is consistent with defined visual style for the Media team
•Create innovative and arresting graphic illustrations to news and other program material from information provided by news and production staff.
•Coordinate with other graphic designers, production designers and programming Manager in developing & implementing strategies for on-air daily requests and coming up with ideas /concepts that meet their requirements.
•Displays ability to research and answer technical questions with respect to design/animation techniques or systems in use.
•Maintains high standards of efficiency, consistency, accuracy, creativity and timely delivery of all requests.
•Must be highly motivated, work well under pressure, and able to effectively prioritize multiple assignments.
