• Plan, budget and implement IT systems and software
• Recommend or perform remedial actions to correct IT related problems.
• Replace defective or inadequate hardware and software packages.
• Provide updates, status, and completion information to manager, problem request tracking system, and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail, or in-person communication.
• Coordinate activities with help desk staff or other third party information systems groups.
• Monitoring and administrating all servers and network equipments in head office.
• Train new staff on use of equipments and advise training program to existing staff if necessary and as identified.
• Serve as primary liaison with outside technology vendors, including Software vendor, phone vendor, and offsite website hosting vendor.
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts. Recommends updates to service plans. (license and warranty updates)
• Develop and maintain corporate IT policies regarding the execution and testing of information storage, system back-ups, recovery, and offsite tape storage.
• Implement and audit security for both corporate headquarters and offsite locations pertaining to account use and allowed access to network resources.
• Develop plans and budgets for future IT needs based on corporate objectives.
• Recommend enhancements of current systems based on performance and staff needs.
• Assist in selection of and implementation of new corporate IT systems, software and hardware.
• May assist in programming of internally developed systems and software.
