A leading IT international private Company operating in Middle East and Africa markets is looking for a seasoned
Marketing Manager for its high volume-high velocity Line Of Business .
Responsibilities are about driving strategic portfolio choices, creating market leading supply chain models, managing
a team of product category managers for driving growth and profit for all products lines under responsibilities, while
establishing strong relationship with suppliers.
Planning
1. Establish a long term technology/ suppliers view of market and business evolution in geographies of scope, to be integrated in the overall product choices roadmap ( current and future)
2. Establish a market based yearly product/offer planning process integrated with the Commercial Group Organization planning process
3. Establish the principles/recommendations for putting dedicated category resources in entities for carrying the roles of sales enablement and marketing mix management & execution
4. Ensure vendors constraints are integrated in the products pricing policies and term & conditions
5. Play a key role in vendors/suppliers relationship as the owner of the product/category enablement of the group, and support local entities in their relations with suppliers
Lead the action
1. Build a minimalist Line of Business and category central team, and a key expertise on supply chain and operations management
2. Ensure that category teams understand and master end-to-end execution of demand/supply processes with a clear view on inventory risks and related costs / cash to cash cycle impacts
3. Develop best practices across entities for improving category and operations execution knowledge and effectiveness
4. Oversee the hiring of key category management roles in the entities
5. Build an organizational leadership academy for ensuring best marketing management skills are in place for achieving best results enabling organization and people to grow
6. Participate to building a talent management program for identifying and growing key talents for the next generation of Line Of Business leaders
7. Establish and deploy compensation model reflecting company business intent
8. Instill a culture of business management discipline, sense of accountability and respects of commitments and deadlines
Evaluate- Reviewing Operations- and Act
1. Deploy and promote products portfolio in selected entities, aligned with agreed roadmap focused on the “products and promotion” marketing mix dimensions
2. Develop or/and deploy products related sales tools for supporting the entities organization seamlessly in their commercial efforts at recruiting, developing and retaining channel partners/ customers
3. Implement Product Life Cycle management techniques : Offer portfolio & new launches implementation- inventory management; obsolescence planning
4. Enable deployment of products related / technical Certification when required by vendors, both in central and in entities
5. Bring regular product related market feedback: competitive moves, vendors moves, emerging channels
6. Study feasibility of Global / regional / local campaign and design, deploy and monitor the execution.
7. Align reporting model for entities, linked with commercial organization scorecard
8. Align forecast to the S&OP process driven by the commercial organization
9. Decide on category operations supply chain decisions
10. Monitor cross entity performance and bring proposal for resolution
11. Participate to Commercial War room and bring the products dimension into the decisions and the execution plan
12. Monitor specific category /Products inventory and propose actions for remediation
13. Participate to cross functional entity reviews
14. Support and entities leaders in execution of their sales plans focused on best positioning of the category/products in the eyes of the customer/channel partner
