Purchaser - Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Co.

Executing local purchasing activities for materials in order to provide effective and efficient procurement services to meet the needs of the company.



Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Local and international purchasing activities, ensuring that all work within a specific area of purchasing activity are carried out in an efficient procedurally compliant manner.

2. Review of Material requisitions received for completeness of specifications, segregation into fixed assets, consumables, spares, project materials.

3. Issue RFQ to local market/ vendors for soliciting the bids, review of bids for technical and commercial suitability, preparation of comparative statement and assisting local purchasing supervisor in finalizing the PO.

4. Monitor the expediting system to ensure timely delivery of goods and services by the vendors.

5. Work closely with colleagues in other material function in planning and control of materials processes to ensure a fully integrated material department service to users.

6. Communicate the requirement of operational procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

7. Coordinating with warehouse supervisor in ensuring delivery of materials and documents and coordinating with QC in inspecting the material and ensuring quality documentation.
