Qatar FIFA Program Leader



Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions (ACS) is a $15.9 billion global business that is increasing the productivity of people at work, and the safety, security and energy efficiency of our homes, buildings, and industrial plants around the world. This position will report to the President & CEO, of High Growth Regions (Middle East) and will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and program management capability to ensure Honeywell maximize business opportunities in Qatar. Qatar is key to Honeywell’s growth in the Middle East and this position will be the main driver for defining and delivering the growth to the business in alignment with Qatar Vision 2030 and FIFA 2022. Therefore we are seeking a strategic Program Manager who will drive forward the One Honeywell approach and deliver joined up technology solutions to our customers.



The successful candidate will be highly motivated, and possess vision, exceptional ability and enthusiasm. The candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and significant influence management abilities and will possess the interpersonal skills to gain credibility with team members and senior management. The candidate will possess an assertive, energetic, engaging executive presence and strong communication skills.



Strategy Development



• Drive strategic development of a series of programs for growth in Qatar for Honeywell. Program definition to include financial analysis, strategic rationale, marketing outline, key success factors etc

• Develop a sound understanding of the political, economic and industrial environment within the region and Qatar in particular. Define and explore how Honeywell can grow its businesses within this environment. Work with governmental and industrial bodies to progress our agenda



Program Management



• Lead cross SBU business teams to realize synergies and define growth strategies in accordance with the Honeywell Strategic Plan (STRAP). Work with external parties, customers and internal functions such as legal, government relations, and finance to carefully define the strategies

• Provide focused coherent leadership to drive the execution of identified strategies and big key accounts, in accordance with specified action plans. Identify any deviations from the plan and quickly work strategies to continue to drive the execution forward. Ensure that executive management has adequate oversight into critical projects with anticipated risks and opportunities



Business Development



• Interface with all HTSI (Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc) and ACS (Automation and Control Solutions) Regional Sales leaders and General Managers to coordinate appropriate sales and marketing efforts involved in the support of the Qatari programs. Pull experts as required and bring teams together to increase impact

• Leverage existing relationships and build new ones to deliver and align with Qatari Leadership and local customers
