1.Analyze and interpret passenger traffic data, such as Market Information Data, in order to determine growth potential and risk for routes, and opportunities for new airlines utilizing QAIA facilities.
2.Create ongoing airport and route traffic forecasts in order to make recommendations to encourage new airlines to use QAIA facilities or to recommend changes to current airline’s weekly schedules.
3.Support Business Development & Communications Director to develop route strategies in order to increase the profitability for airlines and AIG.
4.Liaise with Financial Analyst Department, monitor and report on the performance of airline routes at AIG in relation to competitor airports in order to create recommendations of the best times and days for airlines to access QAIA facilities.
5.Prepare route analysis for airlines in order to create recommendations that increase the airline’s profits and the likelihood that they will continue to access QAIA facilities.
6.Advice Business Development & Communications Director on route strategies that target new destinations, based on economic, political, and related factors that airlines utilizing QAIA Airport are not currently servicing in order to generate more revenue for AIG.
7.Develop improved traffic analysis systems and methodologies for the Business Development and Communications Team in order to create the most detailed and accurate output that results in the most effective and lucrative routes for QAIA and their airline partners.
8.Prepare passenger traffic and airline route reports for meetings with Airline Managers & Route Planners to use as a resource for current and future route planning/development.
