Chief Accountant

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

• Monitor budget vs actual and recommend required financing for approved budget needs, and review all voucher posted to the GL

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting finance legal and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure the necessary control and financial risk management mechanisms are in place.

• Ensure timely preparation of the financial statements and coordinates with external auditors.

• Build, lead and manage a team of accountants

• Close supervision of all day to day and periodic Finance related process and reconciliations such as A/R, A/P, inventory, cash & bank and Payroll.

• Smooth month end closing and reporting within the agreed timetable, and review closing file and ensure proper documentation.

• Supervise the preparation of the weekly/ daily cash flow.

• Liaison with Bank on day to day basis, Handle Bank Guarantees, Reconciliations and provisions

• Assist is building/ modifying chart of account on the ERP along with cost centers

• Work with internal and external auditing services.

• Review of all subsidiary ledgers on monthly basis.

• Establish and maintain effective and efficient books of records, and review all voucher posted to the GL

• Carry out multiple tasks and meet deadlines strict Month end closing deadlines

• Undertaking financial administration

• Liaising with managerial staff, colleagues, suppliers and customers

• Managing financial systems/policies
