Legal Advisor - Arab Bank plc.

Key Roles:



•Reviews banking documentations for the purpose of checking its legality and agreement with Local/International Laws.



•Assists CIB officers in their deals documentation process by drafting / reviewing / negotiating offering letters, loan agreements…etc, in order to ensure deals legality.



•Liaises with external lawyers representing Arab Bank (Bahrain) in Court Actions instituted by or against Arab Bank (Bahrain) in any jurisdiction, in order to protect bank’s interests.



•Conducts/reviews new deal contracts/agreements and daily transactions, for the purpose of ensuring its legality, therefore, protecting bank’s interests.



•Assist the legal Department Head in finding the best legal solutions related to any important issues, thus strengthening bank’s position.



•Liaises with the Legal department head and other legal advisers in the Legal Department to discuss matters related to Central Bank, for the purpose of obtaining any clarifications regarding certain proposals. Therefore, proposing necessary amendments accordingly.



•Reviews Legal Decisions/legislations and any new amendments in this field, in order to evaluate its effect on bank’s transactions, therefore, taking necessary actions to ensure its implementations.
