Warehouse Operational Manager

* Hands-on daily operation of department. Routing, labor planning and scheduling.

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

* Lead and communicate goals, team objectives and priorities.

* Maintain accurate information within warehouse management systems.

* Ability to communicate with multiple customers, facilities and departments.

* Measure and analyze key performance indicators; performance tracking, errors and safety/damage controls.

* Team member selection, hiring and training; reviews and retention of team members. Safety training.

* Manage to Budget, to include all departmental expenses (labor and equipment repair).

* Advanced leadership skills, ability to develop and produce highly motivated team.

* The ability to manage and react to day-to-day operational requirements in a professional and timely manner.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills along with the ability to provide clear and concise details regarding cause and effect, both verbally and written.

* Applies expertise to improve effectiveness and provide guidance to staff and associates.

* Accepts responsibility for establishing goals and achieving results within department, holding self and others accountable for results.
