Business Development Manager - Manpower Middle East

Our client, a manufacturer of components, systems and solutions in the area of electrical engineering, electronics and automation company is currently seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager



Objective

Our client is known as the leading solution provider for electrical connection and electronic interface and automation technology in the markets of the region. The continuous, balanced and profitable growth in the target markets of the region is ensured



Main targets

• The targets agreed for the target markets of the area of responsibility with regard to sales infrastructure, revenue, product profile, and contribution margin are achieved.

• Market potentials and structures in the target markets of the area of responsibility are known and optimally developed by selecting and enhancing appropriate third-party sales structures and partners.

• Adequate third-party sales partners are identified on the basis of an approved requirement profile and chosen in coordination with the export manager. The continuous development and expansion of a qualified third-party sales network is the basis for an optimum market development and positioning of the Company as a premium brand as well as a volume supplier in the markets of the area of responsibility.

• The product and marketing strategy agreed for the respective markets of the area of responsibility is successfully implemented by the target-oriented use of sales control tools (eg discounts, bonuses, campaign-related incentives).

• Company’s third-party sales partners and direct customers have a single point of contact for sales and marketing-related and commercial issues.

• Corporate key accounts in the region are supported comprehensively in close cooperation with the Corporate Key Account Management.

• Customers, interested parties and employees of sales partners experience the Company as a personally and professionally committed, competent and reliable partner.



Key tasks

• Continuous monitoring and analysis of the economic and political development of markets, sales structures, competitors and third-party sales partners as the basis for decisions with regard to the continuous development and expansion of third-party sales structures in the selected markets of the area of responsibility.

• Development of appropriate sales and marketing activities (eg product campaigns, trade show presentations, industry focus) in coordination with the export manager, and implementation in close cooperation with third-party sales partners to ensure the market penetration and profile building of the Company.

• Regular development and expansion of sales and product knowledge typical for Company’s by means of adequate qualification measures for third-party sales partners on site in the subsidiary or at Headquarters.

• Monitor the targets and measures agreed with the partners (eg organization, sales, profile). Coordination of optimizing or corrective measures with the export manager and implementation to achieve the objectives.

• Strategic development of the business with key customers, enhance the relationship with them, bundling and communicating all relevant information and sales to key customers.
