• Assessing students’ (young adults’) learning and emotional needs through observation, interviews, test materials etc. and individually counseling them to help solve problems in learning and adjustment.
• Designing salutary programs to meet the general learning and motivational needs of underperforming students.
• Providing educational programs addressing topics (like - teaching strategies for underperformers, classroom
management, stress management etc.) which would inform and advise teachers.
• Recording relevant cases and writing reports to make recommendations on actions to be taken by teachers, parents, and others who are involved.
