Irrigation Engineer - Emaar Group

• To provide timely technical advice and support to Emaar Management, FM Department and its Technical Services Unit on matters related to Landscaping, Irrigations and Horticulture from time to time;

• To assist Emaar in general and FM Department in particular in preparing and continuous updating its long term and annual LHI Policy;

• To prepare and propose quality standards LHI operations based on Emaar guidelines and policies;

• To ensure health and vigor in plants and greenery by a balanced application of chemical and fertilizer (Organic/non-Organic);

• To maintain cleanliness and aesthetics of all Emaar Developments;

• Reviewing and interpreting landscape and irrigation drawings;

• Cost effective material and sample approval for quality control;

• Selection of ideal plants and materials suited to the various communities;

• Management of design and installation of the irrigation network for optimal efficiency;

• To maintain proper maintenance of turf and landscape and streetscape maintenance;

• Managing, improving plant nursery, Hydroponics and indoor plants;

• Emphasizing the smooth execution of the FM -LHI operations;

• Assuring professional management by maintaining quality, optimising budgets and time frames;

• Liaison with Project LHI teams to define and rectify or solve issues irrigation network and landscape design aspects;

• Technical training to UAE nationals, subordinates and FM team to develop a fail proof FM - LHI system;

• Inspection prior to commissioning of FM - LHI projects;

• Arranging and organizing provisional and final handing / taking over of LHI projects.

• Guidance to the service partners wrt PPM schedule (monthly, quarterly and annually) preparation.

• Approval of periodical PPM schedules.

• Issues of Job Completion Certificates and monthly work reports based on the report and recommendation of LHI Inspectors and/or the concerned site coordinators.

• Ensuring Health and Safety and Environmental guidelines are met.

• Coordination with community management dept

• Coordination with projects dept, consultant and contractor

• Daily site visit for all issues related to the common area.

• Visiting the customers for the all the critical issues raised by them.

• Preparing detailed snagging report for all the communities and to make action plan for rectification.

• Coordination with stores and all subcontractors for the delivery and completion of all the works.

• Attending all meetings and discussions related to common area and infrastructure.

• To close all the service requests with in the resolution period.

• Daily monitoring/updating of Service Request and follow up with vendors to ensure timely completion of job

• Complete follow on PR raised and coordination for site execution of works

• Daily coordination with CMD for site issues. Regular joint inspections between FM/CMD

• Surprise/random inspections for PPM schedule

• Landscape inspection

• Daily site visits/inspection. Reporting any site discrepancies

• Regular Site visit according to the schedule

• Attending and closing of daily SRs.

• Tracking of taking over snags

• Tracking of daily SRs

• Tracking of PRs

• Coordination of subcontractors

• Special complain investigations.

• Regular Site visit according to the schedule

• Follow up of landscaping schedules.

• Follow up of Pest Control Management

• Coordination with Service provider for any lack of maintenance/ Schedule adjustments

• Coordination of subcontractors for awarded job.
