IT Product Manager - Logicom

Ownership: Revenue & Profitability of the Brand Business, Inventory, marketing plan & implementation, Vendor relationship





Inventory Related:

• Be thorough with the road maps of products he will be handling

• Create a stock profile

• Review the stock profile every week in consultation with sales team

• Place weekly stocking order

• Review inventory twice a month for aging & stock value

• Circulate to sales team aging stock list twice a month for quick sell out

• Ensure that aging stocks are minimum at the end of the quarters

• Ensure that the inventory is at minimum required levels at the end of the year





Sales Related:

• Weekly track figures & drive the sales team

• Manage sales activities of the brand

• Provide timely alerts to the sales team on market trends, product cycle, supply & demand, etc.

• Weekly Forecast / Reporting to central team

• Commit & track monthly/quarterly/yearly revenue/profit number

• Meet major customers once a quarter - get overall business feedback covering sales efforts, inventory, marketing efforts, any other feedback.

• Develop relationship with key people within the vendor

• Review daily margin report

• Confirm monthly profitability to accounts

• Update the sales team on their profitability and guide on how to improve the same

• Weekly review of pipeline and pending sales orders report - check for any long pending orders

• Weekly review and correct rebate rejections (if any)

• Quarterly Customer sales/breadth analysis & future planning with sales team

• Product category wise sales analysis (if possible)

• Ensure quality and consistency of service and/or product delivery





Marketing Related:

• Develop and execute marketing plan for the quarter & year

• Implement activities defined in quarterly marketing plan with the help of central/local marketing personnel

• Understand and explain the promotions to sales team

• Negotiate with the vendor for any additional incentive/promotion funds

• Once a week Email shot on product/tech/promotions update to resellers & internal sales team

• Organize quarterly product/promotion update training to sales team and key customers





Finance Related:

• Track and ensure rebate claims are processed and received

• Track and ensure claims for quarterly marketing plans are done on time and received

• Track and claim any other additional fund offered by the vendor
