Reporting to Technical Support Department Manager (Saur Expat)

To Lead a team of 8 engineers with various competencies (hydraulic, modeling, metering and calibration, surveys, leak detection) in charge of



• Carry out various hydraulic studies requested by the operational units (portable Water, Waste Water and Sea Water Cooling) or decided by TSD itself to improve the hydraulic behavior either of any facility or of the whole PW/WW/SWC system including transient analysis

• Provide hydraulic design to the TSD Process & Engineering section for establishing SOW of work to be done

• Follow up the implementation of the metering policy and in particular establish yearly the meters replacement program in coordination with PW Dept. & with procurement

• Analyze yearly data from customer database to establish the above mentioned program as well the sampling program of meters to be calibrated

• Follow up the activity of the meters calibration workshop

• Follow up the NRW reducing action plan and in particular the implementation of the District Metering Zones project in coordination with PW Dept. and concerned Marafiq Dept. (Facility Planning and Projects)

• Analyze DMZs data for establishing a leak detection program focused on the worst zones and follow up & update the KPIs

• Carry out various measurements on the network for identifying abnormalities as well as for calibrating models.

• Update regularly network models (pipes and consumption)

• To analyze any technical issue related to network and pumping stations raised by the operational units, propose solutions and follow their implementation

• Conduct field surveys for getting coordinates (including elevation) of facilities, tracing pipelines as well as for collecting information in coordination with the GIS team and BU concerned.

• Review SOW of new projects funded by RC or Marafiq for all aspects concerning the design and O & M of new netwroks including pumping stations, storage tanks and metering

• Reply to requests from MQ Projects engineering and Facility Planning in coordination with concerned Bus

• Weekly reporting of Section Activity
