Logistics Specialist - Ecolab

Job Overview



The primary responsibility is the co-ordination and support of Nalco’s Egypt Logistics Operations in support of the Nalco & Ecolab business. The Logistics Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate of Nalco stocks in its Scala ERP system

Logistics Specialist is also responsible for customer service activities (customer order placed into the ERP system + open sales order management).



Main Responsibilities



- Implementation of planning information and MRP (Maintain inventory level to support the business)

- Inbound / PO tracking

- Timely transactions as required by MRP

- Coordination of minimum balances for stock items within Nalco Scala

- Customer orders entry into the MRP system (Scala)

- Timely response to customer orders

- Open customer orders management

- Transacting Purchase orders Nalco Scala

- Generation, stewardship and reporting of all inbound materials.

- Monitoring supplier delivery performance

- Issuing picking list to the external warehouse + delivery documentation

- Day to day stock control, including receipting returned material.

- Customs clearance coordination and instructions.

- Coordinating facilitating and/or running of physical Cycle Counts

- Track material usage history

- KPI reporting as appropriate.

- Investigation of incidents and Non Conformances
