Exciting Telco B2B Direct Field Sales opportunity for an experienced Product Sales Specialist located in Qatar.
Role description
The Product Sales Specialist will be responsible for providing focused specialist sales support to the sales teams for a defined product portfolio set. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively engaging with customers and providing all necessary support to the sales force in order to protect the client’s most vulnerable and high risk products from the competitor threat and discouraging churn.
Responsibilities will include:
•Through customer site visits, assist the Sales Manager in establishing a strong relationship with customer accounts and articulate the benefits and value of the client’s products and services;
•Assess and evaluate competitor offers and solutions in order to counter competitor threats;
•Ensure customer requirements are identified and are translated into business proposals in order to provide appropriate solutions;
•Prepare offers, proposals and solutions for the Sales Manager to submit to accounts under threat which will both ensure retention and discourage churn, and encourage growth;
•Design, plan and implement an appropriate sales strategy to achieve targets and KPIs;
•Interface with Marketing to represent the needs of Business Sales for product development strategy and MarComms programmes and activities;
•Establish strong cross-functional relationships with other departments, such as the Retention and Acquisition teams, in order to work collaboratively to retain, acquire and win-back business and achieve targets and KPIs.
• Manage a sales funnel / prospecting system, ensuring that there are sufficient sales opportunities being worked on to cover revenue targets; identify and comprehensively reporting on gaps that may exist which may prevent targets from being met;
•Thoroughly research and analyse the B2B market for competitor information, news and intelligence; undertake benchmarking against other carriers and related companies;
•Prepare periodic reports for management detailing activities and performance against targets and KPIs; reporting must include all competitor information and intelligence and identify any gaps or obstacles within the clients’ portfolio which may act as an obstacle to achieving targets.
