Our client is a leading Pan-African company with an ambitious growth agenda, seeking a Regional Vice-President for its West African operations.

Job description



The Regional Vice-President will have the responsibility to grow the existing operations into a dominant player on the African continent. The RVP will provide overall leadership, strategic and operational direction for the marketing operation in the region. Reporting to the CEO, the RVP will be expected to:



- As Vice President West Africa, contribute to the formulation of strategic objectives and priorities for the region aimed at driving a competitive edge,

- Engage at the most senior level with key external stakeholders, including Government Ministers and Regulators, Customers and Suppliers, representing the organisation,

- Provide strategic leadership and operational guidance for the effective and efficient management of the region,

- Drive the growth agenda and build a strong culture of performance in each country within the region,

- Develop and grow a culture that will foster a high-level of staff commitment and motivation, increased accountability at country level, and a winning mind-set,

- Leading the delivery of the management and control framework that helps deliver the key financial targets for each country within the region, in addition to the key HSE and Customer satisfaction targets,

- Enhance staff competence, identify and develop key staff to drive the business and also contributing to the pool of future business leaders.



7 Country Managing Directors will report to the RVP.
