Senior HVAC Design Engineer

- Accepts engineering responsibility for all assigned projects.

- Must demonstrate good communication skills to coordinate activities with other departments, locations, suppliers, and customers.

- Must be proficient to create and understand engineering drawings and CAD data.

- Conducts value analysis and FMEA studies

- Submits timely schedules and technical reports in support of projects.

- Monitors project programs to achieve project goals and satisfy quality, cost, and delivery targets.

- Examines designs for patentable features and prepares the necessary disclosures.

- Works with engineering staff members at customer locations in the development of designs, specifications, and requirements.

- Complete the various project activities within the established budget and completion dates.

- Assists manufacturing as requested in achieving cost targets, process improvement, meeting production schedules, and solving production problems.

- Depending on assignments, may be required to specify, procure, and/or develop test instrumentation, fixturing, and equipment for product evaluations.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
