Job Purpose:
To develop university graduates into professional Wells staff.
Organisation:
The individual will be part of a group of 20 Developees reporting to the Wells Competence Development trainers with full support and resources to guide individual to success.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Learn and exemplify Shell’s General Business Principles and HSE Culture including the 12 Life Saving Rules.
• Actively participate in classroom training and complete all assigned coursework.
• Carry out minimum 1 year hands-on training with Drilling Contractor rig crew.
• Prepare for and achieve IWCF and Wells Round 1 at the first attempt.
• Learn to and actively intervene.
Key Challenges:
• Steep learning curve and academically challenging Wells curriculum.
• Physically challenging work and minimum 12 hours shifts at the rig site.
• Demanding work schedule (4 weeks well site, 2 weeks classroom, 2 weeks off).
