Responsibilities
To ensure that detailed electrical installations are quoted and engineered to the satisfaction of the client/consultant and successfully commissioned and accepted.
Provide technical back up to the sales force in order that the customer requirements are fully met.
Prepare detailed quotations, compliance/deviation statements and technical submittal for customers from information and specification supplied by the Salesman/customer.
Provide technical and practical advice to the customer on the installation and selection of his generator/switchgear.
Assist the Service Department on any technical problems and fault finding on FLT supplied equipment.
Write technical specifications for control/synchronizing panels for sub-contractors to quote, assess the quotations, place orders and approve drawings.
Offer technical assistance to customers to ensure compatibility between FLT supplied equipment and others.
Handle power projects technically and commercially and following up closely with all the equipment suppliers to assure compliance with the project requirements and to meet the target delivery time.
Job Requirements
Preferably Electro Mechanical Engineer who can understand both Electrical and Mechanical issues with the equipment. Job role requires to work as Application Engineer with Sales Department for preparing installation feasibilities for generators plus frequently travelling to customer sites to give them advisory support to maintain Caterpillar equipment as per manufacturer’s recommendations, maintain good relations with site managers/technical people in order to create good product support image of the company.
