Chef de Partie (Oriental cuisine, hot/cold kitchen) - InterContinental Hotels Group

The Role



As Chef De Partie, you will be working alongside a young and versatile group of individuals and reporting directly to the Oriental Chef. At InterContinental Riyadh, we expect employees of all fields to have a keen eye for detail and aesthetics and this quality must reflect in the work that you do. Here at our hotel, honesty is very much recognized, appreciated and never goes unnoticed.



Your core responsibilities will include the following:



* Cook and present all the menu items as is indicated on recipes and standards

* Ensure that partie equipments, stores and working areas are in proper operational condition and are cleaned on a regular basis

* Supervise and store properly the raw vegetables etc.

* Ensures raw vegetables, sauces, salad dressing etc. are stored in accordance with established standards

* Ensure that portion Control Policy and standard plating instructions are followed

* Reports any unavailable item to the Chef De Partie, and proposes an alternative if the item cannot be prepared within an acceptable time frame

* Ensures that cold kitchen Section equipment is used correctly, kept clean, and reports any defects promptly
