FATCA Project Management Officer - First National Bank

The Project Management Officer will work closely with the FATCA Task Force in order to assist the Head of the PMO in the:



a. Validation of the pre-existing accounts revision & documentation done by the branches, RMs, FICB and MECG



b. Tax, Legal and Compliance issues such as:

i. Registration of FNB’s entities with the IRS

ii. Development of the RO’s certification program

iii. Supporting new tax reporting requirements

iv. Maintenance of the ongoing compliance and withholding requirements

v. Monitoring of the FATCA regulatory environment

vi. Calculation of the Pass Through Payment (PPP) percentage

vii. Updating the legal documentation process

viii. The ongoing development of the governance programs



c. Operations & Technology Issues such as:

i. Updating the in-house solutions to support data needs

ii. Overseeing the service provider

iii. Working on the withholding and reporting enhancements



d. On-boarding & Portfolio Management Issues such as:

i. Execution of the compliance policies and procedures

ii. Performing data/process/controls in terms of data classification / remediation and the monitoring of portfolio assets in non-US funds

iii. Verification and validation of client / investor information

iv. Performing of the day to day service provider / intermediary oversight

v. Communication of FNB’s registration to trading partners

vi. Execution of the compliance policies and procedures

vii. Performing data/process/controls in terms of data classification / remediation and the monitoring of portfolio assets in non-US funds

viii. Verification and validation of client / investor information

ix. Performing of the day to day service provider / intermediary oversight

x. Communication of FNB’s registration to trading partners
