Field Services Director - UAE - SAP

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Services supports the successful deployment and operation of SAP customers’ systems solutions. SAP Services deliver Business Consulting, Technical Consulting, Solution Implementation, Custom Development and Education services.

The Field Services Director for UAE is responsible for all aspects of leadership, positioning, sales, delivery, revenue growth and profitability of the SAP Services business in UAE, with full P&L, personnel and customer management responsibility.



EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

* Full P&L, personnel and operational responsibility for SAP Services in UAE and a key member of SAP MENA Services management team, reporting to Head of Services, MENA.

* Acquire, develop and retain highly talented personnel and grow the management, sales and leadership skills of direct reports. Develop SAP employee skills portfolio and solution know-how in line with corporate strategy and product developments. Ensure that local resources are trained, enabled and empowered to execute with excellence, according to standard processes.

* Develop and position Services offerings in SAP UAE, roll-in regional and global Services offerings and work with customers and Systems Integration partners to develop go-to-market plans for SAP Services to drive expansion of SAP business across the country and support the growth of Software revenue.

* Qualify and develop Consulting opportunities, identify and mobilize support to win contracts for consulting engagements, custom development projects and solution implementations. Conduct customer presentations, proposals and be a virtual team member of various account teams.



WORK EXPERIENCE

* 10 years experience in IT industry or IT Services industry, with at least five at Partner/Senior Manager level.

* Proven Sales and Delivery management experience, with multi-million USD sales and delivery successes with major corporations.

* Experience in managing services businesses with a P&L responsibility.

* Ability to work successfully in virtual and matrixed organizational environment.

* Track record with Services business development in complex consulting projects.

* Ability to work successfully and collaboratively with Partner organizations.

* Demonstrate a track record in selling and managing important service deals.
