Job Objective : Primary focus will at all times be upon ensuring that the Manufacturing Engineering function produces service levels capable of achieving timely delivery and complete customer satisfaction in every facet of the Business Units manufacturing & commercial commitments. A key aspect of the role will be to support the creation of an environment of continual improvement, enabling quantifiable and sustainable change, whilst focusing on adding value and increase customer satisfaction and profitability.
Key Accountability: Include but are not limited :
-Exposures to repair and re manufacturing services for all equipment related repair jobs for Downhole tool repairs of mandrels, fishing tools, MUD rotors, MWD / LWD tools and mechanical components such as valves, pumps and cylinders.
Experience in machining of variety of critical engineering components using Conventional lathe, Boring machine, Milling, Gear hobbing, Grinding machines.
-Developing and maintaining supportive, professional relationships with engineers and technicians, providing engineering and machining feedback when appropriate
Identifying areas for improvement and expansion in the machine shop.
-Maintaining machine shop cleanliness and organization, stocking tooling and supplies.
-Coordinating and/or performing proper and timely repair and maintenance of all equipment.
-Developing and performing Safety Training for the Machine Shop Users community.
-Experience working with Bay Area outside processing resources such as cleaning, heat treating, anodizing, plating, painting, contract machining, etc.
-Manage the day to day functions of operations with a focus on providing maximum customer satisfaction while achieving operational and sales objectives.
-Marketing -work with team members to develop marketing strategies road map and find new products Development .
