Objective: A key member the company hierarchy, a general manager -plant will report to Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for overseeing the entirety of an organization’s operations.
Key Responsibility:
-Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most
effective return on assets.
-Initiative plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of
manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital. Assure attainment of business
objectives and productions schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed our customers’ expectations.
-Manage spending against budget, controlling spending in relation to changes in production volume.
-Assure that collective bargaining agreements are effectively administered and that employee grievances are addressed in a timely fashion.
-Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.
-Responsibility of profit and loss specially related to production costs and overheads.
-Management of the complete plant including tool room,QC, injection and extrusion and compounding and stores.
-Ensuring optimum efficiency, productivity, and minimal rejection.
-Leading new projects for new products including market research of price, product, competitors, market potential, return on investment, design of new product which is of European quality and meeting quality standards and cost efficient, obtaining the relevant. quality marks, raw material and mould sourcing,
-Manufacturing the moulds as per drawings, quality testing.
