The Head of Hydrocarbon Products is responsible for:
Maintenance and improvement of hydrocarbon products already launched on the company platform
Evaluating, designing and delivering new hydrocarbon products to the company platform
Coordinating with sales and relationship management staff to effectively market company hydrocarbon products to current and prospective exchange members
Managing projects to enhance the company hydrocarbon product offering; and
Monitoring, analysing and advising on hydrocarbon derivative products launched by other exchanges.
Job Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate and lead the development efforts of new hydrocarbon products in-line with the need of the company and the local and foreign capital markets.
Review the specifications of existing contracts to ensure they remain relevant and compelling to all market participants.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of all data in any company reports and analysis relating to hydrocarbon products.
Design and maintenance of the company hydrocarbon product strategy.
Advise managers on the benefits, disadvantages and risks of developing and deploying new hydrocarbon products.
Produce all hydrocarbon product proposals for management review.
Assist Chief Business Officer in prioritising business development initiatives.
Participate in formulating policies and training programmes to support the trading and growth of hydrocarbon products, including training and education to internal and external parties.
In addition to the above, assist in the assignment of any other duties related to the company.
Ensure that feedback obtained from clients and market participants is acted upon effectively and efficiently.
Maintain a strong network of contacts with key opinion leaders in the sector
