Head of Market Research Unit (Kurdistan) - Zain Mobile Telecommunications

• Set the Market Research (Kurdistan) Unit performance objectives, in coordination with the Planning and Development Department, Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Departments, and continuously monitor progress and development towards organizational and Unit strategic objectives and communicate periodic performance reports to provide evaluation results and recommend improvements

• Develop and implement Market Research (Kurdistan) Unit policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational requirements whilst delivering high-quality services

• Carry out the day-to-day operations of the Market Research (Kurdistan) Unit, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and align work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employees in a motivated work environment

• Set Kurdish market research projects and missions to be conducted in close coordination with Customer Management Department, Marketing Planning Unit or other relevant entities

• Identify Kurdish market research projects framework, scope and objectives and cascade details to all Market Research team ensuring full understanding and abidance

• Review and enhance market research methodologies and tools used for better efficiency

• Monitor the relationship, communication and efficiency of external market research agencies and receive any issues or escalated cases for review

• Receive feedback about market research agencies performance from subordinates and transfer results upwards for negotiation, selection, renewal of contracts with agencies

• Review market research results challenging their accuracy and comprehensiveness and provide needed recommendations for future improvements

• Contribute and ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives through the supervision of the Market Research (Kurdistan) Unit, set individual objectives, manage performance, develop and motivate staff, provide formal and informal feedback and appraisal, and provide guidance on training programs for employees in order to maximize subordinate and Unit performance
