Head of Marketing (Kurdistan) Department - Zain Mobile Telecommunications

• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the Marketing (Kurdistan) Department Strategy and Plans as befitting the Department and business line needs and objectives

• Set Marketing (Kurdistan) Department performance objectives, in coordination with the Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Departments, and continuously monitor progress and development towards organizational and Department strategic objectives

• Manage the implementation of the Marketing (Kurdistan) Department policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfilment of organizational requirements whilst delivering high-quality services

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Marketing (Kurdistan) Department, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and align work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employees in a motivated work environment

• Maintain close and frequent coordination with other Department Directors to exchange all types of information concerning market research and planning, customer management and marketing communication for better execution of activities

• Challenge Kurdish Market Research analysis outputs and provide recommendations for better studies accuracy and comprehensiveness

• Participate, in direct coordination with the Marketing Director, in the selection of agencies within Kurdistan and other suppliers based on analysis of performance results received from units

• Stay aware of products / services development stages, make sure Development Action Plans are being executed as per time, cost and Quality bounds and provide inputs for improvements

• Monitor Kurdish customers segmentation and ensure products and communication plans are aligned to segments needs and expectations

• Coordinate with the Events Management and Social Media Unit all the events scheduled in Kurdistan and Online Marketing Strategy targeting Kurdish customers

• Coordinate with the Marketing Communication Unit all the Launching and other campaigns in Kurdistan

• Monitor the ongoing performance of all implemented customer experience programs, loyalty programs, win-back initiatives including targeted promotions and improvement initiatives for the Kurdistan region

• Monitor and ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives through the leadership of the Marketing (Kurdistan) Department, set individual objectives, manage performance, develop and motivate staff, provide formal and informal feedback and appraisal, and provide guidance on training programs for employees in order to maximize subordinate and Department performance
