Job summary:
Attracting new and existing international association and corporate events, achieving strategic targets and maximizing the space available in the annual venue calendar
Major responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Bring Association Congresses and International Events to Dubai and DWTC
• Managing existing and identify new clients, agencies, associations and organisers
• Expand and develop international corporate and association events database
• Maintain/develop relationships with government partners
• Identify and analyse real sales opportunities while managing both customer and local partners and develop client oriented solutions
• Develop new accounts and expands customer base in the Region and Internationally
• Create presentations to market products to various decision making audiences
• Develop sales lead lists
• Budget management and control, ensuring achievement of revenue targets
• Coordinate and follow-up needed interactions with involved event departments
• Coordinate relationships with strategic event partners
• Track weekly/monthly sales data and reports
• Oversees entire sales process from start to finish with each customer
• Mitigate any reasonable risk to the DWTC in relation to Public Relations; Commercial or Legal issues.
