Designing and development of design documents for control and protection of electrical systems involving Relaying and Metering single line diagrams, CT sizing, development of interface between primary equipment control and protection equipment, metering and monitoring equipment and communication, cable termination schedule, relay setting calculations and review of equipment technical data.
Review existing protection and control schemes and associated control systems, including emergency load management systems.
Design protection and control schemes for new equipment and systems going forward.
Establish and maintain a register of all protection and control schemes and related settings.
Establish and maintain protection and test routines for the above equipment and associated control systems, including emergency load management systems.
Provide support and advice for Field Engineers on protection and control matters.
Conduct or initiate network studies as necessary.
Generally provide support and advice for Field Maintenance Engineers on protection and control matters.
