Parts Manager - Automotive Management Services

The PARTS MANAGER is responsible to ensure that the workshop/site is adequately supplied with parts and materials as needed. The PARTS MANAGER should ensure that all resources such as manpower, materials, methods, and procedures are followed and utilized effectively and efficiently.



Responsibilities:



Duties include, but are not limited to the following:



• Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the site.

• Accurately records and captures the actual parts inventory on company systems, such as, but not limited to, SCMS, Helios, etc.

• Establishes parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover.

• Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.

• Executes stock order procedures in compliance with company policies.

• Records all returned or warranty parts to ensure full credit from suppliers if required.

• Compiles purchase orders and monitors timely delivery of orders.

• Ensures that all purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made.

• Ensures a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork and reports.

• Maintains a clean and orderly receiving ground and SCM area to promote a safe and professional working environment.

• Co-ordinates and monitors the effective supply, consumption and delivery of parts to CT’s.

• Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect parts sales.

• Compiles accurate Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports as required.

• Executes all Administrative Tasks within the Parts Department in such a manner that will ensure maximum effectively.

• Provides administrative and technical direction to parts personnel.

• Responsible for the monitor and control of fuel usage to ensure effective and optimum use of this resource.

• Effectively report and appropriately address any parts concerns/issues.
