Project Accountant - Manpower Middle East

A leading global Sales & Marketing company is urgently seeking a Project Accountant to join their Project team in Doha, Qatar.

This role is an integral part of the Finance and Control department that will focus on the following :



Provide management information relating to project in Qatar

Analysis of Project profitability

Support the Accounting and Control function.

As a Project Accountant you will be responsible for:



Monthly reporting & analysis



Timely & accurate reporting of Project Profit & Loss

Implement & maintain project accounting tool to monitor the financial progress of projects at any given time

Monthly PS reporting

Variance analysis of actual & forecast numbers to support management decision making process.

Maintain all data files relating to projects - Agreements, Variations, ISI contracts, Contractors Contracts, and all other issues relating to projects.

Margin &profitability analysis per project (forecast vs. actual)

Monitor Engineering & Project team time sheets and recharge to relevant projects.

Deliver business process improvement through the management and financial monitoring of projects to ensure accurate, efficient and effective deliver of key information and margin analysis to relevant departments.

Understand & be responsible for revenue recognition.

Managing & creating a Finance Dashboard of monthly project reports

Ad-hoc reports as required



Ad-hoc duties & projects



Managing Audit relations

Process improvements

Development of KPIs

Holiday cover for other finance staff
