Responsibilities
Primary engineering resource for Sales, Engineering Manager and FLT Customers in the development and delivery of prime & standby power systems.
Review project specifications in preparation for sales quotes and project submittal packages.
Work with Engineering Manager and Application Engineers on assigned projects.
Work with customers to answer application and installation questions.
Assist sales team with technical presentations.
Interface with Caterpillar factory and other vendors to gather information and required documentation.
Prepare detailed engineering submittal drawings for standby power systems projects as applicable.
Respond to engineering review of submittal documents in a timely manner.
Prepare operation and maintenance manuals as well as other documents as required.
Develop and maintain resource databases.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate is an Electrical Engineer with related experience in power generation and electrical switchgear. Familiarity with short circuit coordination studies and commissioning process. Must be proficient in relevant software systems (AutoCad, Adobe Acrobat, MsOffice). The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while working effectively with a diverse team.
