Our client - one of the reputable IT companies in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is currently seeking to identify a suitable candidate for the "Senior Tivoli Storage Manager Consultant"
This position is for a highly experienced Senior Tivoli Storage Manager Consultant to provide TSM leadership for the Backup and Storage Team of a Government Institution.
The resource must have:
- At least 12+ years of relevant experience on ADSM/TSM and hands on experience of Enterprise Level deployments across a variety of vendor server/storage hardware. (This covers backup, recovery and disaster recovery of most major operating systems, applications and databases.)
- First-hand experience migrating TSM 5.x to 6.x
- Certification(s) in TSM.
- Certification(s) in related Storage/SAN infrastructure technologies preferred.
- Excellent Design/Consultancy/Implementation skills for the TSM product suite including TSM for SAN, TBMR, Flash Copy Manager, TSM Virtual Environments and Library Sharing. (Preferably all at the latest levels.)
- Project Co-ordination and Delivery experience (informal Project Management).
- Significant Team Lead and direct Staff Management/mentoring skills and experience.
- Excellent customer communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate and summarize complex technical concepts in efficient and clear language to management, technical specialists and operations team alike.
- Ability to independently research and plan addressing new data protection requirements and/or use of new product features.
- Methodical approach to implementation, change control, procedural documentation and testing.
- In-Depth experience of different TSM Integrations in complex IT environments.
- Strong Knowledge and usage of scripting languages (shell scripting, PERL, regular expressions, etc.)
- Intermediate to expert level knowledge of operating systems (AIX, UNIX & Windows)
- Knowledge of operating system utilities (ftp, telnet, sftp, ssh, text editors)
- Experience with reporting and capacity planning of TSM.
12+ years of Relevant experience in IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM)
