Huxley Associates is representing one of the largest dredging and reclamation companies in the Middle East who is working on a multi billion dollar project. Our client is looking for a Technical Manager with extensive experience in pumps, welding, electrical and mechanical machinery.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Daily follow up of the maintenance/repairs- Assist to cost control during the dry docking / repairs- Follow up status of reclamation item, floating line and sinker line- Tune planning and works to the site staff and the internal departments, coordinate and inspect this- Decide on the docking's opportunity- Make decisions on the place of docking, based on the tenders granted and take into account the vessel's planning- Take necessary action to develop a relationship with the current suppliers and/or sub-contractors
To be short listed a successful Candidate will meet the below requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years experience with at least 6 years spent in a managerial position- Previous dredging experience- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
